Aveda Energizing Composition Aromatic Body Oil

Promise:Â Invigorating oil for body, bath and scalp.

I remember walking into a Spa for a nice relaxing massage one Saturday morning. I wasn’t familiar with Aveda products at that time so I was very pleasantly surprised to uncover another world of beautiful scents and relaxation.

Maybe it was the ambient of listening to a sea waves and laying down on massage bed in dimmed light… However, when I first smelled this great massage oil, I was stunned. This scent is very strong, and consists of Lavender, Citronella, Ylang Ylang. This Energizing refined jojoba oil is excellent for my dry skin. It absorbs very well and my skin stays scented for hours.

Anyway, after my massage was done I went downstairs and bought this massage oil to have it at home and use whenever I want it. As it says that it can be used on scalp to, I applied it few times on my head after washing and towel-drying my hair. As I have natural curly hair, this massage oil made it very soft and my scalp appeared very well moisturized. However, as I was afraid of breaking out on my face I stopped applying this massage oil on my scalp and now I use it only for my body, hands and feet.Â

I haven’t really noticed that it leaves any stains on my clothing, so I use it sometimes instead of body lotion and then I can feel this scent all over me all day. I just enjoy it.

It can also be added to the bath, but I’ve never tried it as it comes in a little 50 ml bottle so I would rather use it instead of body lotion.

Even now, I opened the bottle and kept inhaling this great aromatic scent. It is so calming and soothing that I would suggest Aveda to make more products with this scent, I would certainly be the one to buy it.  This Aveda Energizing Composition Aromatic Body Oil is pure excellence of botanical art.
