Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm
Promise: Long lasting lip balm with Vitamin E.
One of the first signs of pregnancy that I felt was incredibly dry lips. No lip balm could help me, and this is when my girlfriend suggested buying Burt’s Bees Beeswax lip balm, as it is 95.25% natural and supposedly great for dry lips.
I must say that this lip balm worked great and was making my lips soft and smooth again, almost 90% of the time. As I was using it at the beginning of the February, and winter was very cold, my lips were constantly dry. I kept re-applying this lip balm as, although it didn’t totally relieve me from my dry and cracked lips, it did better job at keeping them moisturized than most other lips balms I tried.
Unfortunately, as my pregnancy nausea kicked in, I had to stop using Burt’s Bees Beeswax lip balm as it was making me feel very sick, mostly because of it’s strong peppermint taste and scent.
So, I must say that although this lip balm is one of the better ones I’ve tried so far, I would be happy if it was produced unscented and with no taste whatsoever and that way anybody can use it. Other than that, this lip balm didn’t completely moisturize my lips, as I had to re-apply it frequently throughout the day.
