Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Foundation
Promise: Ultra-gentle formula helps reduce irritation and breakout.
Well, I was very excited to buy this liquid foundation as I believed that it would be as good as pressed powder. However, I was very disappointed with this product.
First of all, I didn’t like the sponge that is on the top of the package, attached to the tube. I mean, it is a good idea, but how on Earth can I wash that sponge after using it, without getting some water into the actual tube?
Second, this liquid foundation was too thick to apply. There was no sample product in Zellers to try, so I really had no idea what I bought, but I was trusting Physicians Formula name. When I came home, colour of the foundation was too light and texture of foundation was very thick making very sure that each and one of my big pores becomes very visible. I didn’t like that, and I usually don’t have such a problem. My moisturizer is the same as the one I used with Almay liquid foundation, and although I didn’t like Almay as it was more like tinted cream, this Physicians Formula liquid foundation was just too much visible and thick coverage. Terrible foundation. And it says on the package that it is made for acne-prone skin.
Well, since Zellers didn’t want to return this foundation (terrible customer service on their side), I was forced to either throw this foundation in the garbage or give it away. I gave it away to a girlfriend, but she doesn’t like it much either.
Not recommending this product at all. Total waste of money!
