St. Ives Mineral Clay Firming Masque

St. Ives Mineral Clay Firming MasquePromise: Smooth and radiant skin.

I don’t know what it is about this mask, but when I read that it is made of Pure Swiss Glacial Water, Swiss Botanicals and Kaolin Clay, I just get so excited thinking that this facial mask is packed with staff that is good for my skin.

I apply this mask once a week, usually for a weekend when I have more time to relax.  I dedicate 15-20 minutes of my time to just lying down and enjoying my facial treatment. This mask is rich in texture and I usually apply it a lot to cover my face and neck completely (except area around eyes and lips).  It takes a while for a mask to dry out, possibly due to thick layer that I apply, although it says in directions to apply thin layer.

After I rinse out this mask, first with lukewarm water and afterwards with cold, my face feels so rejuvenated and soft, that sometimes I wish I could apply it more often to my skin.  Maybe I could, but I don’t want over do it.

I would like to point out that this mask is very good for oily and acne prone skin, such as mine.  My skin feels calm and looks less red after this treatment.  Even my mom likes this mask, she said it is very good for her skin too.

It says on a package that it is for all skin types, and usually I am cautious of products that are for all skin types because I can’t figure it out how something can be good for acne prone or dry skin at the same time.  However, what I have figured out is that anything that contains Clay to it (which are usually facial masks) is good for my skin type.

This mask comes in a 150-ml package and it lasts me a long time.  It is one of the best masks I have ever used!
