Herbal Witch Hazel Cleanser

A light, liquid cleansing lotion that is excellent for wiping away daily grime. Soak a cotton ball in the lotion and wipe it gently over your face. Choose a herb to suit your skin type.

1 tsp dried or 1 tbsp fresh chopped chosen herb
1/3 cup/90 ml boiling water
4 tbsp/60 ml witch hazel
2 tbsp/30 ml glycerine

Place the herb in a bowl and pour on the boiling water. Cover and leave to cool. Strain.
Pour 2 tbsp/30 ml of the infusion into a sterilized bottle or jar. Add the witch hazel and glycerine. Cover tightly and shake well.
Store in a regrigerator and use witihn one week. Shake before use.
